Same address, new look.
The City of Armstrong has launched a new, rebuilt and redesigned website.
The new site features user-friendly navigation, a modern aesthetic, and a significant content overhaul and rewrite, including innovative features for mobile phones, an emergency alert bar, an expanded homepage with news, a calendar of events, quick access links and beautiful images.
Cheeky Monkey Media has been engaged to redesign the site and provide ongoing maintenance, website updates and to incorporate any future new website/web design practices to continue to meet the needs of the community.
“The website hadn’t been updated in many years, so it was time for us to think about how we could improve everyone’s experience,” said Nicole Cressman, town manager of Armstrong. “This new website has been designed to make it easier for users to navigate and to improve the city’s overall communication with the public.
Armstrong’s chief administrative officer, Dawn Low, said it was important to have a strong website to provide information to the public and provide another way for the public to communicate with the council.
“The staff worked hard on the project,” Low said. “They are excited to provide these opportunities and encourage the public to watch the engagement features evolve over the next two months.”
The website is located at the same address at https://www.cityofarmstrong.bc.ca/.
