Media launches Canada’s first digital taxi network


TORONTO, ON /ACCESSWIRE/November 22, 2022/ Statements Media, an award-winning outdoor advertising company, today announced the launch of Canada’s first network of digital in-cab advertising displays in Toronto.

Geo-targeted digital taxis are rolling out on the streets of Toronto.

Statements Media holds an exclusive license to Firefly’s proprietary hardware and software. The initial rollout of 100 digital screens on the roofs of Toronto taxis will be complete by November 30, with additional units expected to go live in 2023. The state-of-the-art units enable hyper-targeted advertising, delivering dynamic, campaign-based audiences based on exact taxi location and time of day.

The digital taxi displays will deliver millions of impressions each week in the Toronto CMA and will be available for programmatic campaigns on major SSPs, including Hivestack. Data-rich campaign reports, including heatmaps, will show advertisers exactly where their targeted impressions are delivering.
