Machine Gun Kelly will take part in a pink lighting ceremony for the Empire State Building tonight (Tuesday, June 28) as a symbol of strength, perseverance and hope in partnership with his new documentary, Life in pink. The rocker/rapper will also turn the lights of the Empire State Building pink live onstage from his sold-out concert in Madison Square Garden tonight.
Machine Gun Kelly’s life in pink is an in-depth look at the dramatic ups and downs of an artist in search of music’s top spot while tackling the noise of the outside world, fame, fatherhood and more. The film is streaming now and is directed by Sam Cahill and produced by Baker, Stephen Astephen, Andre Cisco, Ashleigh Veverka, John Janick and Sean “Diddy” Combs. The documentary is also produced by Sam Cahill.
The Empire State Building, the “world’s most famous building,” soars 1,454 feet above Midtown Manhattan from base to antenna.
