(NASDAQ: IDCC), a mobile and video technology research and development company, today announced a donation of more than 70 laptop computers to Zip Code Wilmington, The first non-profit coding school in Delaware, to support the training of the next generation of software engineers.
Zip Code Wilmington, a non-profit organization dedicated to software programming training in the Delaware area, will use the laptops as part of its youth training program called B1ue N0te. The B1ue N0te program provides industry-standard computer programming and web development training to high school students in Delaware. The program attracts underrepresented and socioeconomically disadvantaged youth to learn in-demand technical skills and prepares them for further education in STEM fields. The laptops will also be used in programs that teach low-to-middle income families coding skills and raise awareness for careers in software development.
