Abagail Diehl and Ethan Solberg have been selected as seniors of the month for the Rotary club in the Viroqua region.
Diehl’s first semester courses were Design Survey (Art 124) by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Home and Auto Maintenance 1, AP United States history, band and web design. His second semester courses include AP Language and Composition, AP Calculus, Woods 1, AP Group, and AP United States History.
At school, she is a student council treasurer, a member of the National Honor Society, and on the track and cross-country teams.
Diehl’s community activities include his participation in 4-H and the Vernon County 4-H Leadership Program. Additionally, she is involved in her church, where she helped lead a confirmation class, and is a lay reader.
She enjoys playing the piano and painting in her spare time.
Diehl plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Platteville majoring in engineering.

Solberg’s senior classes include Home and Auto 2, Math for Trades, Yearbook, Bodybuilding, Construction 2, Advanced Metals, Woods 2, Teaching Youth Basic Metals, and English 4.
At Viroqua High School, he played football and baseball.
In the community, Solberg helped build a pole shed for the classroom, reroofed Mr. Jones, worked at Walmart, and worked for his uncle doing concrete.
In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing for trout, bass fishing, hunting, baseball, and wood and metal work.
Solberg plans to take an apprenticeship in the steam fitter trade and possibly get certified in welding.
He is the son of Jake and Melissa Solberg.
